Depositit - Ultimate Data Protection
Compatible with

DEPOSITIT E-MAILS

Depositit sends you 3 types of emails:

  1. Backup Confirmation
  2. Restore Confirmation
  3. Digital Receipt

The backup and restore confirmation emails are on by default and will be sent to you as soon as a scheduled or manual backup or restore has taken place. This email will confirm whether the backup or restore carried out was successful and will also provide additional information (i.e. how much data was backed up and how near your limit you are).

Further details relating to all backups and restores including information on those that were unsuccessful can be found on your client log.

If you switch off your backup confirmation email, this will be overridden in case of a backup being unsuccesful.

The Digital Receipt lists all the files that have been backed up for a particular definition and is sent after every backup has been carried out. This feature is not switched on by default, although if required can be activated by going to Options > send digital receipt. (see image below)

Two of the emails are selectable from the Options menu:

The email confirmation that is received when a file has been restored is on by default. If you wish to stop this e-mail being sent, tick the e-mail confirmation box at the bottom of the restore screen.
